In an effort to keep up and continue our Telugu festivals and culture alive here in Canada for the future generations, TACA is celebrating Sankranthi this year again, and has planned a variety of stage programs like dances,songs,dramas, skits, music and special items etc., with our own children. We cordially invite you all to come and celebrate the festival together with enthusiasm and merriment. Here are the few details on the event.

Entry to Sankranthi Sambaralu is FREE to all Telugu people and TACA well-wishers, and win the exciting prizes by participating in the following events.
TACA always in forefront to represent our Telugu culture by organizing many cultural stage events like dances, songs,dramas, skits, music and special items etc., in an authentic and professional way. TACA Governing board encourages all these programs to be done with our own Telugu Tejalu (children) instead of outsourcing.
Since the formation of TACA, it has been releasing Toronto timings Telugu Calendar every year, and this year also TACA is proudly releasing its 2015-Telugu Calendar and will be inaugurated by our chief guest Mr. Akhilesh Mishra, Consul General of India, and the FREE physical calendars will be available at the event to all of you.Rangoli
Rangoli is made to welcome happiness and peace in life. As we do not have the opportunity to draw muggulu everyday in Canada, TACA is organizing Rangoli Competition, and let us all begin our journey in 2015 with this bright and colourful drawings. It has been decided these to done on the paper for 7 years to 20 years age participants, and on the designated area on the floor for the age over 20 years. Please note that only drawing sheets will be provided by TACA and participants have to bring the other required Rangoli material on their own.
TACA has decided to organize Bommala Koluvu, and participants to bring their bomallu to the event and can be arranged them in the Bommala Koluvu of the event.
Food & Sponsors
TACA carefully reviewed and arranged to serve Telugu authentic food at a reasonable price. We are also allowing for a limited number of stalls in the event, and accepting the sponsorship to the event. TACA is organizing food donation for Mississauga food bank, please generously donate canned food or non perishable packages in the event.
