Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya 607th Jayanthi Festival – May 3rd to May 9th 2015 in Los Angeles.
It is the blessing of Sri Venkateswara that SVASA has been fortunate enough to commemorate the Jayanthi of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya uninterrupted for the past 24 years and this year it is the 25th! (582nd Jayanthi in 1990 – 607th Jayanthi in 2015). Sri Venkateswara Annamacharya Society of America is organizing the 607th Jayanthi Commemoration Festival of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya from May 3-9, 2015.
The festival service will begin on May 3 (Sunday) at Sree Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Riverside, CA with Gurudeva Prardhana and Sankeerthana recital. Also included in the service are recollections of Annamacharya events for the past 25 years, Honoring those who contributed to the cause in all these years, followed by Mangalam and Prasadam.
The festival service will conclude on May 9 at the Sanathan Dharma Temple, Norwalk, CA. As a concluding event of the festival, Sri Venkateswara Sankeerthana Kalyanothsavam will be performed on May 9 (Saturday) from 8am to 2pm per the following agenda seeking the blessings of Sri Venkateswara and Annamacharya for the Universal peace and harmonious living of peoples of all parts of the planet. Annamacharya Sankeerthana recital at each Ghattam (step) of the Kalyanam is integral to the proceedings of the Kalyanothsavam, continuing the tradition that was first introduced by Sri Venkateswara Annamacharya Society of America during the Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya 603rd Jayanthi Festival in 2011.
