Ohio, 13th January 2014: Celebrating Sankranthi in Northeast Ohio comes with the added challenge of putting our imaginations to work as we look outside at the picture perfect winter wonderland and reflect on growing up in India amidst warm weather, much colour and abundant fanfare that is associated with a celebration like this. An event where a rejoicing spirit finds harmony among family and friends, a bounty of harvest, colourful adornments around self and home, renewed hope for the future and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the blessings that it has been fortunate to receive!
